The spirit of the place
Pawpon is a quiet game about a small shop at night. We would like the places where people talk about it to feel the same: warm, a bit silly, and safe for someone who has had a long day. These guidelines apply in the Pawpon Discord and any other space we run, alongside Discord's own Community Guidelines.
Be kind
- Treat everyone with respect, whatever their age, background, identity or skill at the game.
- Disagree about ideas, not people. "I don't like this change" is useful. Insults are not.
- No harassment, hate speech, threats, bullying or discrimination of any kind.
- Many players are teenagers. Keep everything suitable for a general audience: no sexual content, graphic violence or shock content.
Keep yourself and others safe
- Do not share personal information, yours or anyone else's: real names, addresses, phone numbers, account details or photos of people who have not agreed.
- Nobody from the Pawpon team will ever ask for your password, your Google account or payment details. If someone does, it is a scam; please report it.
- No spam, scams, phishing links, advertising or selling. Offers of "free gems" or modified versions of the game are always fake.
Play fair
- Do not share or promote cheats, hacked versions of the game, save editors or ways to fake ad rewards.
- If you find a bug that gives free currency or items, report it privately by email rather than posting how to do it. We are grateful for these, and we will thank you for it.
- Spoilers are welcome in their own channels. Please do not post secrets or rare cats where people have not chosen to see them.
Reporting a problem
If someone is breaking these guidelines, do not argue with them in public. Use Discord's report tools, message a moderator, or email talhaabidj1@gmail.com. We read every report. Moderators may remove messages and warn, mute or remove members, depending on how serious a problem is and whether it has happened before. If you think a decision was wrong, email us and we will look at it again.
Fan content policy
We love seeing what people make. You are welcome to stream Pawpon, make videos, take screenshots, draw fan art, write stories and make other creative things with the game, and you may earn money from them through platform features like ad revenue, subscriptions, tips or sponsorships. You do not need to ask first.
So that it stays fair for everyone, please:
- make it clear your work is fan-made and not official, and do not suggest we endorse or sponsor it;
- do not sell Pawpon's own art, cats, logo or other assets on merchandise, or as game assets or NFTs, without our written permission (fan art you drew yourself is yours to show);
- do not use the Pawpon name or logo as your own brand, channel name, app or domain;
- do not extract and share the game's files, unreleased content or data taken from the app;
- keep content consistent with these guidelines. We may ask for fan content that is hateful, harmful or misleading to be taken down.
For anything not covered here, like official merchandise ideas, collaborations or press use, see the press kit or write to talhaabidj1@gmail.com. This policy is permission we give, not a transfer of rights, and we may update or withdraw it for particular cases.
Changes
We may update these guidelines as the community grows. The latest version always lives on this page.
